Internship Trainee

AB Trade Link

AB Trade Link specializes in consulting services for companies in the United States who wish to expand their market to South American countries. Working alongside Adriana Bohorquez (CEO and founder), Virginia Economic Development Partnership and AB Trade Link's team,  we accomplished successfully the Virginia Trade Mission 2022 in Bogotá. I assisted in over 30 meetings with the counterparts in Colombia and the United States, sent over 100 google calendar invitations, and developed strategic management skills working with more than 4 excel sheets at the same time.

Orientation Leader

University of Richmond

January 2024 - Present

Orientation Leader (OL) for International Orientation at the University of Richmond. Currently planning next year (fall 2025) new spider orientation and logistics as well as Orientation Advisors (OA) training before orientation. Participated in the hiring for OAs, planned the OA social and olympics, structured the training sessions for OAs, and designed content for OL recruitment.

Received training of two weeks to work as an orientation advisor in New Spider Orientation and with International Orientation. Shaped first impressions and experiences of new students as they embarked on their journey at the university. Served as the first point of contact for international students at the airport and helped them with cultural guidance of life at the United States. Organized and facilitated orientation activities, workshops, and events that aimed to familiarize incoming students with the campus culture, resources, and community.

Spanish TA

Worked closely with the Spanish faculty and played a vital role in supporting both professors and students in their language-learning journey. Planed engaging and interactive Spanish lessons, conducted classroom activities, and facilitated language practice sessions. Improved the students' understanding of Spanish grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills. Fostered an appreciation for hispanic cultures among students.

Graduate Programs at the University of Richmond

January 2024 - Present

Intern for the Graduate Programs at the Robins School of Business. Closely working with Debbie Fisher (Associate Director, Graduate Programs), Danice Stetson (Program Specialist, Graduate Programs), Amy McCracken (Associate Dean, Graduate and Executive Program), and Jessie Bailey (Assistant Director of Recruiting, Admissions and Student Services, Graduate Programs). Created more than 20 flyers to showcase Alumni’s experience, achievements, and recommendations, updated the official brochures of the university for professional development and career management and assisted with the preparations and the success of events such as Q-Camp and Midpoint Mingle.
